Before and After pictures
The deal was that we had to take Before and After pictures and use Q sciences products all Summer to help us get fit! I took on the challenge with the goal to "place" I won 3rd place!!!!!!

My Weight Loss, Fitness, and Health Journey
Hi! My name is Amy Heaton! Before I took the Q Sciences Get Fit Challenge, I weighed 153 pounds. I have an auto immune disorder, so before I discovered EMPowerplus Q96, I felt discouraged about my physical and mental state. I often asked myself, “If I feel this awful at 40 years old, how am I going to feel when I’m 60?” I was tired, irritable, achy, and a little overweight. Even though the EMPowerplus Q96 has taken care of my mental state, I still did not feel physically strong. I accepted the Get Fit Challenge and collected many of the Q Sciences products and used them!
eQuivalent +:
I used my AMOR points to keep myself stocked up in the eQuivalent shake, both chocolate and vanilla. I drank a shake every morning! My recipe is ¾ C water, ¾ C ice, 20 almonds, and 1 scoop each of the chocolate and vanilla eQuivalent shake. I wouldn’t feel hungry again for at least 4 hours. It was, and still is, a great way to start out the day!
Q Boost:
I really enjoy the Q Boost spray. I use it about 4 days per week. My husband has sensitivity to peppermint, so I can’t use it during the mornings that he is home. I really feel like it was a catalyst in helping me lose weight on a daily basis.
Q Sleep:
An important part of being healthy and losing weight is adequate sleep. Most of the time, I can fall asleep just fine. However, when I travel, I don’t sleep well at all because I’m not in my own bed. This summer we traveled for 10 days for our summer vacation, and I brought my Q Sleep with me. I slept solid every night with 6 sprays of Q Sleep before going to bed. No more sleepless nights for me!
Cellerciser:
I decided to buy a Cellerciser mini-trampoline at the Rocky Mountain summit in the beginning of May, and I absolutely love it! Adapting to bouncing for 20 minutes every day didn’t come easy. It took all of May to work up to being able to bounce for that long. Once June 1stcame, I was able to bounce for 30 minutes a day for 5-6 days a week. A couple of years ago, I broke one of my ankles and sometime later, severely sprained the other. Since then, I’ve always worn my lace up boots all day, every day, everywhere I went. It was difficult in the beginning to do some of the exercises. The exercises would hurt my ankles, or it was emotionally scary for me to bounce without protecting or supporting them. But by pushing myself throughout the following months, I could feel all my muscles in my ankles and in my whole body strengthen. I haven’t had back pain since the end of June; and I mean my whole back: neck, upper back, small of the back, hips, and sciatica. I’ve been able to stay out of the chiropractor’s office I can walk in sandals with confidence. I feel stronger, tighter, and more toned throughout my body.
Supplements:
I’ve been taking EMPowerplus Q96 for over a year now; but in February, I started taking the amino acids, QBiotics, and QOmegas daily. I’ve been taking them all through the summer and up to the current date. The Q96 has helped me feel happy, calm, clear-minded and level-headed. The QBiotics have helped to nourish my intestines so that they do what they are supposed to do. The QOmegas have helped to hydrate my skin and dry eyes. I love the positive effects of each and every one of these amazing supplements!
Q Fit:
I read through the Q fit calendar and used it for ideas, but I didn’t follow it exactly because of several food allergies that kept me from eating some of the meals. I would fix them for my family, but I would alter the meals for myself. As I said previously, I drank a shake every morning. I would have a small lunch, usually including grains. (We make an assortment of whole grain foods from scratch. I mix together 10 grains, soak them, sprout them, dehydrate them, and then grind them into flour. This is the grain flour I use in my baking. It’s healthy and nutritious.) I would also have an early dinner included wholesome foods and items such as vegetables, green salads, and a little meat. I would also sometimes have whole fruit and nuts for snacks. In short, the Q Fit is a program that dovetails perfectly with my nutrition-conscious lifestyle.
Q Mind Fit:
Ahhhh! La Pièce de Résistance! When I feel tired but don’t have time to nap or just feeling over-stressed, I can lie down for 20 minutes and listen to a Mind Fit program. I purchased the Q Mind Fit program and listened to several of the weight loss programs, and when I would feel like I wanted to quit, I would listen to one of them. It was just the thing I needed. I also really enjoyed the AM and PM programs as well as the specific Q Sciences IBO programs. It really helped me stay positive and motivated in my business. I would also have my kids use the mind fit for their specific needs. I love my Q Mind Fit!!!
Life changing lessons I learned:
The three lessons I learned to help me feel and be healthy and lose weight are: eat real food, eat less, and eat early. A couple of times, out of politeness, I ate what was served to me, which wasn’t exactly real food, and I would gain weight. I also would feel sick sometimes after eating these foods. In addition, a couple of times I had to eating later than 6 or 7 pm and I gained weight, as well as with eating second helpings. Fortunately, I discovered a sneaky way to pacify the night time hunger pangs and still lose weight. For example, I would be done eating by 6pm, but my stomach would growl at 10pm as I was going to bed. Moreover, I found a website online that advised me to eat a teaspoon of raw honey on an empty stomach before going to bed. It calms the hunger and levels out the blood sugar without leading to weight gain. I tried this method many times and it worked well for me.
My end weight was 133 pounds; actually it was 132.8, for a total weight loss of 20 pounds! Now I have the energy I need to get me through the day. I can stay calm and I am pain free. I am happy to be my ideal weight.
With all that I have been able to accomplish using Q Sciences products, I still have some goals for the future. I want to stay around 135 and not go over 140 in the winter. (A little extra weight keeps me warmer in the winter.) I want to keep using my Cellerciser daily and encourage my family members to use it consistently. Finally, I intend to always and forever make these nutritional supplements and real food apart of my daily life.
